The organisers of the Soccer Queens NWPL Referee of the week awards has officially announced Serah Godwin of the Bauchi State Referee Council as the SQ NWPL Referee of week two.
The Nigerian Police officer was at the middle when Nasarawa Amazons lost to Bayelsa Queena at the Lafia City Stadium on Thursday evening.
In a tension soaked game at the Lafia City stadium, it was expected that the Referee would be under a lot of pressure from the home fans but Serah was fair and firm in officiating leading through with composure and charisma.
She won the prestigious referee award ahead of Funmilayo Alaba of the Ogun State Referees Council and Osesemena Vivian of the FCT Referees council. http://www.bellsnews.com/sports/jay-zs-rock-nation-signs-samuel-chukwueze/
