The Nigerian National League, NNL, has warned clubs in the league that anyone of them that flouts Covid19 protocols will be sanctioned. The team will pay a fine of 300,000 naira and will be banished to another venue for their remaining home games
The NNL regretted that some clubs were flouting the protocols, hence the need to remind them of the need to stick to the rules. The NNL reminded the clubs what a closed door game is supposed to be like
According to the league body, only 30 security personnel, 7 club officials, 10 host FA staff, 6 match officials, accredited medical personnel, 2 accredited camera men per team and 10 accredited media men to be accredited by the State FA will be allowed into the match venue
In view of this, ball boys are not allowed at the stadiums, there must be hand sanitizers at the entrance of the stadium and face masks are compulsory. There must also be a compulsory temperature check of the players, officials and all accredited personnel
The State FA must write to the league body if any State Government official will come to watch the game
