Omani Professional League outfit Dhofar have officially announced the signing of Sodiq Atanda on a free transfer.
Atanda started his football journey in Lagos, representing 36 Lion at a young age.
After putting on promising shows at 36 Lion, the defender moved to Albanian top flight side FK Apolonia in 2013.
He has also played for FK Partizani, Hapoel Kfar Saba and FC Prishtina in the past.
Dhofar decided the 28-year-old centre-back was the right fit for the team as they are trying to improve on the defensive side.
After 11 games played in the Omani Professional League this term, Dhofar are first on the ladder with 26 points.
The ex Nigeria U23 defender has officially put pen to paper on a two-year contract with Dhofar.
