He was rewarded with a Man of the Match award in Niger Tornadoes’ 1-0 victory against Sunshine Stars. The fans felt he deserved it and voted him for his brilliant show in the game
He made the team of the week in NPFL Insider’s team of week for his encouraging performance in Niger Tornadoes’ 1-1 away draw with Lobi Stars in Makurdi
He played all 19 games for the Ikon Allah boys and did everything right in defense, which endeared him to fans.
