FC ONE Rockets will by 4pm today engage Nnewi United in a match day 11 encounter of the current Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The game which takes shape at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium will be the first ever meeting between both sides.
The Indomitables will be aiming for their fourth win of the season after wins over Apex Krane, Rovers FC and Ijebu United.
A win in the encounter for Emmanuel King’s side, who are ninth on the log, will take them above Nnewi United who have the same number of points but are fourth on the table.
Usual names: Abel Abba, Kuku Kingsley, Ugochukwu Obiri, Christian Nwoke, Harrison Ebah, Daniel Simon and a host of others are all available for selection for today’s tie.
FC ONE Rockets have been training hard for the game and have had an extended rest after last weekend’s fixture against Cynosure FC in Abakaliki was put on hold.
With hours before kickoff, the home side look ready and determined to pocket all three points as they hope to turn their fortunes around and aim for the top.
