Upon arrival from Abuja on Thursday evening, Daga Daniel presented his customized jersey to FC ONE Rockets proprietor Rt Honourable Otuekong Essien Nse .
A warm embrace between the duo climaxed with Daga presenting the number 13 shirt, a replica of the jersey he wore at the tournament to Rt Hon Nse Essien.
In the same spirit, a delighted Daga also decorated the club owner with the gold medal he won with the Flying Eagles at the tournament.
Daga has caught the eyes of many with his form for Nigeria at the just concluded WAFU B Qualifiers for the Under 20 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Benue-born midfielder won two Man of the Match awards against Burkina Faso and the Ivory Coast at the WAFU B Qualifiers in Niamey, Niger Republic.
A key member of Ladan Bosso’s side, the FC ONE Rockets midfielder is on course to represent Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and hopefully the Under 20 World Cup should Nigeria qualify.
