The Carabana International Scouting Tournament, an initiative of B.G. Sport and Indomitable Talent Foundation in conjunction with one of the world’s renowned football management agencies, SPOCS Global Sports, is set to commence in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State as scouts arrived Uyo, Friday evening.
Scout at SPOCS Global Sports, Desmond Tra and partners Miraculous Michael and Ikechukwu Jude, touched down at the Victor Attah International Airport Uyo, at about 8pm on Friday; and were received by Proprietor of Carabana Football Academy/ FC ONE Rockets, Rt. Hon. Otuekong Nse Essien and General Manager Ubong Essien.
SPOCS Global Sports is a Europe-based agency that spotted Liverpool star Mohamed Salah and facilitated his move to FC Basel from Arab Constructors of Egypt. Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka, Salzburg forward, Junior Adamu, are some of the over 260 players managed by the agency.
The Carabana International Scouting Tournament begins at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Sunday, 26th June, and runs through 30th June, 2022.
Carabana Football Academy, Full Life Academy, Blessed Stars Academy, FC ONE Rockets and 20 other clubs/academies will be taking part in the five-day showpiece as stars will be given an opportunity to shine and get links to further their football career.
