Nigerian international Goodnews Igbokwe has successfully secured a move to Eastern Europe with top Armenian outfit FC Van.
The pacy young striker made the switch from Right To Win Football Academy umuahia, having shown class in an international exhibition game organised by the umuahia based academy in March where foreign scouts from top European sides were in attendance to judge the array of talents within the Eastern part of Nigeria.
The erstwhile giant brillar of enugu forward was favoured to have sealed a 2 years deal as part of the outcome of the scouting exercise, with Armenia his destination as he prepares to dazzle in the shirts of topflight outfit FC Van.
Speaking to footballflakes in an exclusive chat, the goal- friendly forward expressed optimism in his new adventure
” the task is upon me to make the good headlines in a strange land, is a landmark adventure and I’m pretty confident I’m gonna paint the Armenian soil with harvest of goals, is a different climate altogether with such a friendly environment, I can’t wait to start firing from all angles”.
The workaholic forward lists Giant brillars, Vemad FC, AGTFA, Rigjt To Win as his former clubs prior to the move to eastern Europe. The world at his feet.
