Super Falcons striker, Michelle Alozie is one player who is living her dreams as a footballer and also as a medical worker.
The Houston Dash forward works as a cancer research technician for Texas Children’s Hospital and is also playing for Houston Dash FC in the NWSL where she has scored two goals this season
In an interview with abc13.com, Alozie reveals how she combines both professions
“If I finish here (with the Dash) at noon or 1 p.m., I’ll run over to the lab. Thankfully, it’s really close to our facility, so I’ll just run over to the med center and help out with wherever my coworkers left off. I’ll usually go in on weekends, too”
Alozie works with Dr. Alex Stevens, a pediatric oncologist and is part of four research technicians who are working on leukemia research in the leukemia research lab.
Alozie has a degree in Molecular biology from Yale and she plans to attend medical school to become a doctor which has always been her dream
Michelle plays for the Super Falcons during this period too and has found a way to combine both careers and giving her best in these careers
