Following their emphatic 3-1 matchday 2 victory against Bayelsa United yesterday upon their home return to the Umuahia Township Stadium, Abia Warriors football club captain Nweke Kalu revels in his first goal of the new abridged NPFL campaign while baring his mind in a chat with footballflakes.net.

“I felt so great and emotional at the same time knowing it was the first home match as the team’s new captain. I’m pretty confident this goal would spur me into finding back of the net in our subsequent games.”
