Olajide Royal, the President of Royaltoms International Football Academy, wishes the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) a successful NWPL Play off and Pro-League.

“I believe in the Aisha Falode led Board. The Board which has taken Women Football in Nigeria to the next level and the growth is still in progress. It was an interesting and a wonderful season which sees 4 teams in 4 different groups competing for one slot respectively into the Super 4 while the fourth teams in each group goes for play off. “

The NWFL appointed Mrs Icheen as the coordinator for the games, a development which excited Olajide

“The appointment of Mrs Icheen was a great one to coordinate the play offs. Mrs Icheen is a woman of great credibility that can handle the supervision of the play off.”

The four teams that will be participating in the 2018/2019 NWPL relegation play off are Osun Babes of Oshogbo, Kaduna Queens of Kastina, Dreamstars Ladies of Lagos and Invincible Angels of Gboko. Dreamstars Ladies will take on Invincible Angels while Osun Babes takes on Kaduna Queens. Both games to take place on the 2nd of October, 2019 by 1pm and 3pm respectively at the Goal Project, Abuja.

“I wish Dreamstars Ladies and Osun Babes wins their matches respectively ” he said jokingly.

The NWFL Pro-League will feature Pelican Stars, Moje Queens, Olori Babes and Police Machine at Confluence Stadium, Lokoja from 4th – 7th October, 2019 at which two teams qualifies to the Nigeria Women Premier League and the other two teams remain in the Pro-League.

“The Women Football in Nigeria is really growing as Nigeria Women League remains the best in Africa and we can see that our league players are now wanted in the best leagues across Europe. Kudos must be given to Aisha Falode and her board for making the league get this better.” He opined
