Growing up, everyone had a picture of who they want to be when they grow up, or in what profession they want to be. While some who have big dreams do not get to that level, others do. For some, they pursue a particular course. It is unusual for someone to be a professional in two lucrative jobs.
For Elizabeth Owusua, as a child, she had her dreams too. She wanted to be a lawyer and a nurse. She did not know where to start but she started somewhere else.
She finally started at Senior High school, Mfantsiman, Ghana. After she graduated from there, she went to pursue her dream of being a nurse.
In 2008, she went to the Nursing and Midwifery Training college, and she graduated with a Diploma in Nursing. Two years after, she started working as a nurse.
She was not yet satisfied, she wanted to learn more about the profession, hence she proceeded to Central University College and got a Bsc in Nursing. She had accomplished one of her dreams: to be a professional nurse
She then pursued her law degree. She was accepted to study law at Gimpa law faculty. She graduated in 2019 with an LLB. Now she is a lawyer
During the day, she works as a lawyer, while she works as a nurse in the evening.
She is a source of inspiration to many people, especially young girls who want to pursue their dreams. No matter the background, their dreams can come true.
