Abia Comets have successfully arrived in Lagos ahead of the Nigeria National League (NNL) Southern Conference Group A Matchday 3 encounter against Madiba FC on Friday.
The contingent, made up of players, coaches and officials arrived at their team hotel Palaszino’s Hotel around 9:16pm on Wednesday evening.
The Umuahia based club stormed Lagos for a positive outcome , as they keep their hopes high on getting the needed result against Madiba FC, who are unbeaten in their opening two games this season.
The Coach Okechukwu Ejeh led side secured their first win of the season, with a comfortable 2-0 home win over Beyond Limits FA, last Saturday in Umuahia.
The encounter is billed for Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Stadium, Lagos. With the match expected to kickoff by 3:00pm.
