The Abia State Government has postponed the planned meeting with religious leaders by a day. A press release by Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Chris Ezem reads
“Sequel to the recent announcement by Secretary to the Abia State Government, inviting the leadership of the Abia State Traditional Council, selected Religious Leaders including Chairman of CAN, Secretary of CAN, Bishop Goddy Okafor, Archbishop Okpoko, Bishop Sunday Onuoha, Bishop Geoffrey Ibeabuchi, Bishop Nathan Kanu, Rev. Ibeawuchi U. Agwu, Pastor Bassey Udo, Pastor Nwagu Okenwa, Pastor K.K. Ndukwe and Suleman Ukandu representing the Hausa and Muslim Community for a crucial meeting at the Michael Okpara Auditorium, which meeting was originally scheduled on the 3rd of February, 2021 has been rescheduled to now hold on Thursday February 4, 2021 by 1pm at the same venue.
