Abia State University, (ABSU) has banned students from driving personal vehicles on campus. This was contained in a memo dated February and signed by Acho Elendu, the Registrar

The management also banned what they called “flagrant display of wealth” on the campus. Only staff and accredited visitors are allowed to drive into the campus

The management also warned that defaulters would be sanctioned

In a similar story, the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti has reeled out a code of dressing for its students. The school also forbids a certain “postures” on campus and this was seen in a banner at the school gate
