With the African Games final coming later today, Flying Eagles striker, Emeka Chinonso has stated that failure is not an option for him. The wonder kid of the Flying Eagles who has so far been impressive for the team in the 2019 African Games in Morocco is today a year older.

Today happens to be the final of the football event in the ongoing Rabat 2019 and the Flying Eagles of Nigeria will be facing Burkina Faso to determine who will clinch the Gold medal of the male football category.

Speaking to Bellsnews, the tall lanky Flying Eagles forward Emeka Chinoso said: “It is a wonderful day for me, first of all I thank God for life and agility, I am so happy because it is a memorable day for me looking at my strides in my career so far.

Today we are playing in the final against Burkina Faso, I am very optimistic about us clinching to the gold medal as the winners. I have always said it within me that failure is not an option for me, we have our eyes set on the trophy.”

He goes further to say what winning the trophy would mean for him.

“Winning the trophy definitely means a lot to me, my career and my person as well. We are hoping that the luck of favour will knock on the doors of the Flying Eagles today as we prepare to soar high in victory today.”

All I wish for on my birthday been today is for us to win the game. I want to make my country; parents, Brooke House FC of London and all Nigerians back at home proud of us.”

Emeka Chinoso concluded by saying: “I want to win my first international trophy in my career which I am solely determined to pull in my very best today as we walk as team to victory.”
