Enyimba FC Chairman, Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu has heaped praises on Carl Academy and Football College, describing the institution as ‘a grooming ground for future stars.’
Agwu’s remarks comes after the award winning football administrator visited the Umuahia-based Football Academy on Tuesday.
Only a few years after its opening, the academy has already scored some high points which includes producing players who feature in the Nigeria Professional Football League – something that Agwu is most impressed about.
“What I’ve seen here can be the game changer in the Nigerian football sphere. This is a grooming ground for future football stars.
“I came here today to see for myself because I’ve heard a lot about this academy and I am totally impressed with the structure on ground. I can’t help but praise the brain behind this great vision – my good friend Pastor Emeka Inyama.
“One of the biggest challenges in this part of the world is combining academics with sports, but right here, Carl Academy has achieved it seemlessly. They are offering holistic education and that is exactly what the 21st century child needs. It’s time for parents to begin to accept this reality and enroll their wards in this kind of well structured institution.”
The Carl Academy and Football College is owned by experience football administration, Pastor Emeka Inyama.
