Ayisat Yusuf Football Academy has claimed victory in the inaugural RAAF Lagos Female Unity Cup.

This tournament served as a preseason event for the Lagos Female teams involved.

The academy, owned by former Super Falcons player Ayisat Yusuf Aromire, triumphed over CATS Ladies in the final match.

The game ended in a stalemate, leading to a penalty shootout where goalkeeper Basirat Lawal made a crucial save to deny CATS Ladies their final attempt.

Omolara Odebode from Ayisat Yusuf Football Academy was rightly awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament.

In the third-place match, Unification Talent decisively defeated Phoenix FC with a score of 3-0.

The RAAF Lagos Female Unity Cup received support from Addosser Microfinance Bank, Ivory Health Club, 36 Lion Investment, DigiKolo, Centre Grace Assembly, Lagos State Sports Commission, and the Lagos State Football Association.
