The Football Club Owners Association of Nigeria have expressed deep shock over the tragic death of one the NFF accredited NPFL Referees late Dr. Kingsley Nnaemeka from Abia state.

Late Nnaemeka was an official in the just concluded NPFL match day 5 encounter between Nasarawa United FC versus Plateau United FC which ended 1-2 in Kaduna Wednesday.

The young Referee was said to have died in a ghastly motor accident on his way back from Kaduna along Lokoja – Enugu road.

Club Owners described his death as shocking and unfortunate as it had cut short his promising hubby as a Referee and his flourishing career as a young medical doctor.

The Association commiserated with his immediate family, the Abia state Football Association, Abia state Referees council, NRA, the IMC, as well as his colleagues and friends on his sudden demise.

According to a statement by the Association jointly signed by the Chairman Barr Isaac Danladi and the Executive Secretary Alloy Chukwuemeka, Club Owners prayed for the repose of his soul and for God to grant his immediate family and friends the fortitude to bear the loss.
