One of Nigeria’s finest in Sports Journalism, Gbenga Adeleye has been appointed as the new media officer of Ekiti United FC.
According to a letter signed by the club management board and issued by the secretary, Deji Olowolafe last week started that Mr. Adeleye’s appointment takes effect immediately.
He will take charge of all media-related activities of the club.
Until his appointment, Mr. Adeleye is the Media Aide to the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Ekiti State and online editor with FreekickNaija.com.ng.
On his appointment, Mr. Adeleye thanked the club for the opportunity to serve and promised to bring his wealth of experience to bear in the course of his duties.
He, however, appealed for the cooperation of media colleagues and football stakeholders in ensuring the activities of Ekiti United FC are well reported.
It will be recalled, Gbenga Adeleye was former media officer of one time Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Nembe City.
