As Nigeria gets set to host the 2020 FIFA U20 women’s world cup, preparations are in top gear to get facilities ready for the tournament.

He said: Ahead of the FIFA Under 20 Female World Cup, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat and I, together with the Hon. Minister of Sports Sunday Dare went on an inspection of the National Stadium, Teslim Balogun Stadium and Onikan Stadium.
Lagos is ready to host with adequate accommodation, security and transportation logistics.
Our administration identifies sports development as an important enabler for youth engagement and productivity.”
