The game which was heated up based on the status of both teams lived to its expectations as both teams showed class and game management abilities at different stages of the game, but after the final whistle, it was the Coach Okay’s boys that came unscathed.

“The Devotion Boys” as they are fondly called by admirers rose to the challenge posed by the enterprising Ibile FC and took home all three points at stake as the race for the top spot is shaping up.

After the match the Coach, Ezindu Okay-Lawrence while fielding questions from the Media team said this the best performance so far from the boys and that they really needed to be applauded.

” I am satisfied with what I saw and how these young boys managed a game of this magnitude, we are not where we wish to be yet, but we have made tremendous progress, kudos to my assistant and in-field coach, Wole Johnson-Kanu.

The training drill and psychological push on the boys is yielding the desired fruit. We will continue to put in more effort, we will not relent. I give credit to the coach of Ibile, he has a very good side and they’re very sharp, I’m sure they’ll do well in this competition Andi wish them luck.” he concluded.

FJ’s next game comes up on Tuesday and they’re looking to keep up and maintain their hundred percent record.
