In a state media chat with Governor Alex Otti, a journalist told the Governor that Enyimba lost to Remo Stars, Abia Angels lost and Abia Comets lost too. He then asked the Governor if these results align with his vision for the state.
The Governor replied that in sports, you either win, lose or draw and that since the teams got results that are not outside of these three, that there is no cause for alarm. He said that losers should congratulate winners and express the spirit of sportsmanship.
He also reminded the journalist that the teams have won games this season and they have his full support.
He then asked the journalist if he is happy with the response, the pressman said no. The Governor chuckled and told him he can make himself happy at the lounge, after the media parley.
