President of the Nigerian Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick says that he will not be running for a third term in office but will support whoever emerges as the next president

The FIFA Council member said this in an interview with Arise TV on Monday morning

“”I am fine. There are so many Nigerians that are capable of being there (NFF President). I will assist and work with anyone who wins the elections. I will work with whoever emerges as NFF President. That i promise. I will intervene but will not intefere.”

Pinnick’s ambition has been a source of debate, with many arguing that he would contest. The former Delta FA boss had earlier said he would not contest but there was disbelief in some quarters
