Kano Pillars left back Fahid Usman has Told Newsmen how ready he is to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Manchester United if given a chance. This He Said in an online interview with reporters on Friday.
Usman, a Kano young star who started from the streets like most Nigerian footballers said his motivation was to make his family proud and make his fans happy.
When asked how he felt when he was approached by Kano Pillars FC he said “I was happy when Pillars signed me, despite not being the best player in my position all over Kano, they still went ahead to sign me, it really made my family and myself proud”.
Speaking on his dream of joining the Super Eagles he said “I am confident that my time to get a national team call up will soon come and I have been praying hard for it and by the grace of God I will get a chance to play for the Super Eagles and I will be ready to play well”
When asked if Kano Pillars FC can win the league he said “yes we can win the league, they said it’s going to be a super six playoff by the grace of God by the end of the playoffs Pillars will be tops”
When asked if he nurses any ambition to play abroad he said “I will like to play in England with Manchester United”
He said Lobi Stars has been the toughest opposition he has played against.
