Super Falcons assistant coach, Maureen Mmadu has showered praises on NFF for their support in her career. The former Avaldnes coach and player was on June 27, inducted into the Nigerian Women Hall of Fame. Maureen is the first Nigerian, male or female to play 100 games for the national team.
” I just want to say thank you to NFF for giving me the opportunity to represent Nigeria. I want to thank my team mates, my club that gave me this opportunity to showcase my talent as a coach”. Coach Mmadu has a UEFA C license.
Fans and journalists were not left out in her speech ” I also want to thank journalists and my fans all across the world, my family, my younger brother who followed me here and all the people that prayed for me; my pastors, my spiritual mothers and everyone that is behind this progress”.
She also had words for women who are working diligently “to whom much is given, much is expected. With dedication, hard-working and honesty, you will be recognized anywhere you are. Put your best in all you do, you never can tell what will happen”.
The occasion was attended by well meaning Nigerians, including LMC chairman, Alhaji Shehu Dikko and former queen of the tracks, Mary Onyali
