The Mayor of Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State, Mr. Chinedu Ekeke has expressed his desire to support Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia in their quest to bring honour to the state.

The newly elected administrator gave the assurance when he welcomed in audience, Chairman of Abia Warriors Football Club, Coach John Obuh, who led members of his management team on a courtesy visit to him at the Local Government Headquarters in Mbalano.

The elated Mayor expressed his gratitude for the visit and assured the football administrator of his support for the club.

“…Abia Warriors has been my family from day one and we’ve worked very well together, and your dreams are my dreams. I want Abia Warriors to succeed, to do very well. And I also want to thank you for your strong and purposeful leadership in the team. And of course, we know what happened in Lagos, reaching the FA Cup finals for the very first time, it’s a major achievement,” the Mayor stated.

The Isuikwuato local government number one citizen further assured Abia Warriors of his willingness to assist the club succeed to the best of his ability.

Earlier, Abia Warriors Chairman, Coach Obuh had expressed his gratitude to the young administrator for his reception, even as he solicited for his support.

Coach Obuh also wished Mr Ekeke well in his new office and hoped for greater political status for him in the nearest future.
