The third tier of the Nigerian Nationwide league one, have come out openly to issue a statement concerning NLO clubs who engage unqualified coaches to handle training of players.
Repect to this, the Secretariat of the nation’s third-tier domestic league hereby reiterates her stand that Club Owners should not parade personnels that are not qualified coaches to handle the training of players, as this has been seen as counterproductive to the development and growth of football at the grassroots levels.
He went further to say that from the 2022/2023 season ,that no NLO club will be registered without presenting the certificate or diploma of their respective coaches to aid eradicate this.
Stating that the Nationwide league one is putting humongous effort in ensuring coaches in the league are well equipped with the new trends in coaching.
The COO, Mr Olushola Ogunowo who made it clear that the second edition of NLO/Berackiah Grassroot Football Coaching Clinic will kick off from February 1st and end 28th in the six geo-political zones.
