Benue born sports administrator Mike Idoko has disclosed that he will continue to support Lobi stars despite been relieved of his duty as the Vice Chairman of the club.

How however urged all the teeming fans of the club both home and abroad to continue to support the team and cheer them to victory all the time.

The experienced administrator made this statement in the wake of his stepping aside from his role as the Chairman of Makurdi bases Nigeria Professional Football League side Lobi Stars.

A statement emanating from the state government revealed changes made in the hierarchy of the club as Idoko stepped aside.

“It is true I’ve stepped aside from my position at the club as instructed. Lobo Stars is a big institution, it is our team and we must do all we can to support it whether I am there or not,” he stated.

“The journey has been challenging and I’ve done my best to serve the club and will continue to do so irrespective of where I am.

“What has a beginning must have an end. My chapter as chairman of the club has ended but it does not mean I won’t continue to support the club.

“I urge all the fans both home and abroad to continue supporting the team. I’ve also spoken to the players to continue to work hard and give their best to take Lobi Stars to greater heights.” Idoko added.

Mike Idoko led the Pride od Benue as Lobi stars are well known to the Caf Champions League group stage in 2018 after topping the Nigeria Professional Football League table before the league was stopped.
