Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu scored a brace as Genk beat title rivals, Royal Antwerp 3-1 on Sunday. The brace means that the Genk striker has scored in 5 consecutive games for the Belgian giants.

The Super Eagles striker scored in the 33rd minute after Bryan Heynen opened scoring for Genk in the 13th minute. Vincent Janssen scored in the 42nd minute to give Antwerp hope of a comeback but Onuachu was not yet done with scoring.

Onuachu scored the decisive goal in the 77th minute when he rose highest to nod home to make it 3-1. The win moved Genk four points clear of Antwerp in the Belgian Jupiler League as they seat comfortably on top of the league.

Onuachu scored a brace in Genk’s game against KVC Waterloo and this brace on Sunday takes his goalscoring frequency to scoring in five consecutive games.

Onuachu’s brace means he has scored eight goals in his last five games for Genk and his goals have powered Genk to the top of the table with 37 points in 14 games
