President Buhari Praises Officers Fighting Terrorism in the North East

President Muhammadu Buhari has commended the Officers and men of Operation Lafiya Dole and all security agencies in the joint task force. The President said this in a tweet on Saturday

“I appreciate and commend the gallantry & commitment of the Officers and men of Operation Lafiya Dole, all the Security Agencies, and the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF). Their efforts are visible in the appreciable improvement of the security situation in the North-East.

I implore them to not relent in their efforts; to continue to take the fight to the hideouts of the terrorists and criminals, and ensure they are completely eliminated.

I also implore them to ensure adequate security for farmers and their farms. Agricultural activities are essential in many ways, including for the prosperity and development of rural areas, and these can only be achieved if our farmers are sure of their safety.”
