Juventus sent a notice to all their players who went on vacation to return to the club as training starts, in order to complete the Serie A season in Italy. Italy is among the countries that are worst hit by the deadly pandemic but they envisage that an end to it is in sight.
Ronaldo would have returned earlier on Monday but could not leave Madeira because his flight was grounded. Before he left, Ronaldo helped players in the Portuguese lower leagues with donations, as the clubs in the lower leagues are suffering because of the effects of the global pandemic on business activities and sports.
