On Wednesday, the campaign train of the All Progressives Congress arrived in Ugwunagbo.
Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, the senator representing Abia South and Hon. Solomon Adaelu, the House of Representatives member representing Ugwunagbo, Obingwa and Osisioma Federal Constituency and Nna Henry, the APGA House of Assembly Candidate, Ugwunagbo State Constituency were present.
Senator Abaribe and Hon. Adaelu are contesting to return to the Senate and the House of Representatives under APGA and they visited five wards. They were given a glamourous welcome, especially at ward five, which is the home of the APGA State House of Assembly candidate, Nna Henry.
They addressed the people and explained why they left the People’s Democratic Party to join APGA because apart from being a party that identifies with the Igbo people, it is a party that has the people at heart. The constituents confirmed receipt of fertilizers which were shared to all nooks and crannies of Ugwunagbo.
They assured the people that APGA, unlike PDP, would take care of them, urging them to get their PVCs ready to vote in APGA candidates on February 25th and March 11th, 2023.
In their response, the people thanked the Senator and House of Representatives member for all the projects executed in Ugwunagbo, from the electrification project to the school building projects and the sharing of education materials, including the gift of transformers, rural road grading and so many other palliative works. The people also pledged to vote in three of them, including their own son, Henry Nna.
Hon. Adaelu also encouraged the people to elect their own son, Henry Nna because he is a son that is worthy giving the mandate, as he would bring the dividends of democracy to Ugwunagbo people.
