“It was a very good performance. We created many chances, but couldn’t finish them. However I thank God that we managed to pull through at the tail end.”
“I’m not happy with our transition from defending to attack, but I understand some of them are very young and still growing.”
“In football now, the players need to take instructions and convert your chances to make things easier .”
On the performance of the goalkeeper in the penalty shoot out, Godwin said :
“I still have confidence in the boys because we have a very good goalkeeper and we practice penalty in training session every day.”
“We knew what he can do on his days. We talked to him before that we we’ll win the game, if he save at least two, but he went on to save three. So I have confidence in him.”
The victory means, Dino SC will face either Beyond Limits or Imperial FC in the final.
We are aware of the qualities from both teams,we have played them before as well. so we’ll go back and continue working. It is our desire to life this cup and we have to continue working to achieve this.” Godwin Gibson concluded
