Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum has handed invitation to five Falconets players who just returned from the U20 World Cup in Costa Rica
This is according to Savidnews.com, the invited players are; Abiodun Deborah, Tosin Demehin, Jumoke Alani, Rofiat Imuran and Esther Onyenezide. The girls are already in the Abuja camp and will fly out with the coaches to the US where the Falcons will play against World Champions, the USA in a two-legged game
Monday Gift, Christy Ohiaeriaku and Ogbonna Akudo are the other Nigerian based Falcons who will join their foreign based counterparts in the US.
There will be notable absentees from the team. Asisat Oshoala is still out due to injury while Visa hitches prevent Francisca Ordega, Ngozi Okobi Okeoghene and MacLeans Chinonyerem from making the trip
Savidnews reports that the Nigerian based ladies will leave the country on Tuesday night for the first game in Kansas on Saturday, 3rd September while the second game will be played in Washington D.C on 6th September
The new girls are expected to at least get game time against the World Champions as both teams prepare for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand next year
