Nigeria’s U20 Women’s team, the Falconets produced another stunning performance to record a second win in the WAFU B tournament in Ghana with a 6-0 spanking of Togo in their second group game.

The Falconets scored three goals in each half to bring their tournament tally to 13 goals and they have conceded none.

It is the maiden edition of the WAFU B Women’s Cup. Amina Bello scored twice, same with Flourish Sabastine. Opeyemi Ajakaye scored a header from a corner kick while Esther Onyenezide scored from the spot in the first half.

The dominant Falconets maintained their dominance throughout the game. Unlike the Niger game, Falconets goalkeeper, Anderline Mgbechi rose to the occasion to make good saves, hence a clean sheet.

The Christopher Danjuma tutored girls will now face Burkina Faso in the last game on May 28th.
