Enyimba FC of Aba have given what looks like a fitting reply to Nassarawa United’s coach, Bala Nikyu, for his pre-match comments as the Solid Miners prepared to face the People’s Elephants at the Lafia Township Stadium in the epic tie of the NPFL Match Day 8
Coach Bala Nikyu who had guided the Lafia side to a good start in the season said: “Enyimba aren’t Arsenal or Manchester United, they are beatable”.
It is normal for coaches and players to talk before and after games and that makes the sport interesting.
Enyimba had a fitting reply for the former Flamingoes coach as they beat the Solid Miners 1-2 in Lafia. Enyimba showed character and resilience as they held on to their lead even after Omaka was shown a red card in the 62nd minute
In effect, Enyimba said “yes we are not Arsenal or Manchester United, we are Real Madrid and Barcelona”
