Enyimba’s captain, Austin Oladapo says that his team is ready to get the three points when Enyimba meet Libyan side, Ahly Benghazi in the first leg of their CAF Confederations Cup group stage game in Aba. Oladapo said this at the pre-match press conference in Aba on Tuesday
“What we are looking for in tomorrow’s game is to get the three points. It is very important to us. We know it is the starting of the Confederations Cup group stage. Our focus is just to get the three points”.
The versatile midfielder who has been a stronghold in coach Fatai Osho’s team is also no worried about the possibility of a harsh weather as the team will play at 2pm. He said he and his teammates are not worried because they are used to playing in the sun and have also prepared for the weather
“I don’t think we are worried about the weather, this is not the first time we are playing in this kind of weather. We have been training over some time now in the weather, we are used to it. I do not think the team is worried about the weather.”
He also said that the boys in camp are in high spirits and are eagerly expecting the game
“The camp is lively right now. The players are all prepared for this encounter. The players know how important it is to them, to their career, to the State and even to their families and I think everyone is prepared for this particular game”
